Our WCM Family cares about people and community and have for many years. This year we added one more idea and came together as a company to provide 366 cans of soup to DELCO Food Project, a food pantry located at St. Timothy’s Lutheran Church. However, gathering soup for two weeks made us hungry so, with the help of several WCM volunteers, we plugged in our crockpots and enjoyed a variety of homemade soups in what we dubbed our personal “Soup Kitchen”.
Overall, both were a success and through this we were able to receive more than we could ever give by having added fellowship and connections with people we may not have otherwise met.
